Instrument lights tweak - on permamently

Featured Replies

Dashboard lights on all the time - this will illuminate the clocks all the time

This will not alter the brightness of the interior illumination and clocks when the side / headlights are on, only when they are switched off.

Module 17 instruments – enter access code 20103
Adaptations

(2)-dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y1 from 00 to FD

(3)-dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-X2 from 32 to FD

(4)-dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y2 from 00 to FD

(5)-dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-X3 from 66 to FD
(6)-dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-Y3 from 00 to FD

(7)-dimming_characteristic_curve_adjustment_clock_dial_day-X4 from 96 to FD

The advantage of this tweak over the DRL + instruments + tail lights tweak, is that this one only does the instruments and therefore doesn't annoyingly light up the light switch on side lights all the time.  Also good if you don't want the tail lights on all the time.

The light switch annoyed me a little (sad I know) so I have enabled this one and set the tails on all the time as well (separately)

I have found that you can also choose the brightness level of almost everything including needles, centre display etc.  Thank you VAG :-)
