Black rims always seem to make the car look like its riding high!

Honest opinion? Don't like it at all I'm afraid... Each to their own though - as long as you're happy thats the important thing!

I don't like them - but I would prefer them to be a lighter shade - anthracite colour - them lowered.

Not my cup of tea either, although I'm thinking they probably look better in the flesh! Car definitely needs lowering now though - that's a huge gap between tyre and arch

I think the silver edge to them make it look like they've been nicked off the Flying Scotsman.

Don't mind the wheels but WHY does it look so high? Looks not too dissimilar to how my old TDI looked on 17s with regular suspension? Yours looks like it could drop 75mm and still be high enough. :confused:

if you give the tyres a wash and then dress them, maybe it would look better in a picture. i think the tyre goo is having a negative effect on the look....

well when i give it a wash probs monday...... ill pust sum more piccies at angles and what not.. yeh just was excited so i posted b4 cleansing n all that...when these tyres burn out ie soon i hope.. gonna stick sum gsd-3 f1 on them i wanted a set of rims to stand out aswell..cos i trawled through literally hundreds of diffo types of alloys and these immediately went BANG... well if we ever have another national meet... please dont laugh at them... just s****** when i walk away

i like the wheels but sadly not on a red car. on a black magic car i think it would look really good.

maybe 215/40 tyres would look better, not as stretched looking.

After a wash with nice clean sidewalls and maybe some tyre paint they may look better but they do make the tyres look very small and the arch gaps very big.

makes me wonder is my little project with S3 wheels is going to work :eek:
