I'm very excited and somewhat amazed that our car is finally ready for pick-up. I ordered it online (here in France) on 4 November and was told it would be here by the third week in February. Having read lots of posts on this site about long delays I didn't have high hopes. But here it is, bang on time. It's a 2.0 TDI 4x4 combi with pale leather interior - I hope! I'll let you know more when we get it! Wish us luck on the five hour drive to pick it up.

At least you'll have plenty of time to get acquainted with it on your first drive.

Nice, my 4x4 should be here soon too, but mine is only an hour away :-)

Bonne chance et bonne route, but I'm a little concerned that Skoda dealers seem to be so thin on the ground in France.

Well hope you'll be happy! I love mine aside from too soft suspensions and some noise related speed (why oh why they didn't realise the side mirrors are so noisy!)
