It can only improve the running after the remap.

Stone chips you want to see my bonnet it looks like he's done a rally stage with it (mine was also from Scotland) so you must have bad roads up there but a 6 month old bambino has stopped me from the respray for now

Here good things about the teraclean it's good for the egr valve aswell if it's still there ha ha

Can I ask where you ordered the bilstiens from I have a broke spring so I'm thinking why not lower it aswell [emoji4]

Oh I was hoping for a bit more than 25mm seen some apex 35mm droop for £100 but bit unsure how good they will be

You get what you pay for

Car is dropped off at the bodyshop and hopefully pic it up next Saturday.

Then hopefully pick it up and take it straight to the garage for the suspension to get fitted on Monday.

Then finally get the wheels on just in time for the M3 getting picked up on the Friday.

Terra clean getting carried out at my work week commencing 27th April.

Just realised the MOT is due on 20/05 so when the car is in the garage getting the suspension sorted next week, its now getting MOTed and its annual service incl fuel filter and brake fluid change.

Bodyshop has overran do don't pick the car up until Thursday :-(

So it doesn't now get into the garage until the Thursday after.

No courtesy motor for me either   so needing to get my wifes car next Thursday and she will need to get a lift and  get a random to take me to work next Friday and get dropped off by someone else, nightmare.

 

Why did I not just get a leased Octavia VRS for £199 a month

Skoda said I can have a car but it's £10 a day for insurance

Well got the car back from the Approved VAG bodyshop and it looks as good as new.

Apart from 3 doors and the bumpers it's all been repainted and looks spotless.

Great job carried out by Steve Walkers in Bathgate.

Next step, suspension, rear brakes, full service incl brake fluid and MOT next Thursday/Friday.

Then put the new wheels on and scrub inside the arches at the same time next weekend.

Also got brilliant leather cleaner and moisturiser to do that weekend as well.

No pics of the new paint as its too sunny :-)

Ive ordered the LED rear number plate bulbs but no others yet, they do look decent though so might have to get some.

 

Got some HEKO wind deflectors to fit as well.

Is your going led spend the extra and go cree miles more reliable

Or fizzmo on eBay 1 ur warranty

I fancied some wind defectors but I'm still unsure you can be the test pilot

Another couple of jobs done.

Carpets and mats all vaxed and the colour of the dirty water is disgusting.

Then cleaned and moisturised the leather and cleaned the interior.

Double post somehow ??

Can I ask where you got the leather stuff from ?

I was recommended it by a mate and just used eBay.

It is in pretty good nick for 8 yrs old and now that I will keep it cleaned and moisturised it will hopefully stay that way:-)

Heko wind deflectors fitted, unsure about the rear ones so might take them off ??

Can't wait to get the new wheels and suspension on as it looks shocking with the winters !!
