230 Bhp Vrs

Featured Replies

Not beating myself up :) It's the delay in the car I've ordered that started all this lol

Just paid the deposit on a Seat Cupra ST and collect in a week or so :)

Haha! Just seen the other thread! Congrats. Hope you are pleased with the Seat!

Wonder if the configurator has a sister, could be popular going down as often as it does.

  • Well here she is !  Over the moon with it.   Missing roof rails though and have been told that they should have been there and to await a bulletin from skoda about them ( mind you i like it without

I have and I've bought it haha! A week on Saturday I hope!

And like me that will be the only one you see for weeks.....unlike the octavia which you will see at every traffic light and car park going.

Exclusivity it quite appealing

Cheers! Here is hoping they do a 280 VRS in 3 years that I can trade in for lol

This will be the 2nd time I tried to buy an Octy VRS and ended up buying a Leon.

I blame this thread entirely for this second occasion lol

Just changed our VRS TDi estate for a new 230 in black - with red decals that we love - but for some reason can't upload any photos?

Have uploaded three pictures to galleries - if anyone can advise how to link them here (site says maximum amount reached - one photo of my 'old' VRS) it would be appreciated!

Hang on...success!

I don't usually comment if it's not positive... But those decals really aren't doing it for me!!

Black looks awesome!

However again the stickers spoil it massively.

Very nice!

I wonder what colour decals you get on meteor grey?

Im gonna say it stickers = Just say no.

Otherwise Car looks great. I suppose with a black car thats the only way you can tell its a 230

so understand the motive but skoda should have done a better job with the decals i think.

Still it looks ace in black.

Weirdly I do like them on the black car.

Still pining for the VRS 230, looks really well in black. I'm sure 280bhp of the Leon will make up for it when it arrives...

That and the gloss black extremes.

Not 100% sure about the stickers myself. I think they could have been better.

The black vRS230 looks amazing very nice indeed the 230 sticker look out of place to me it needed to be smaller

Quite like the gloss black extremes just the sticker thats going to be polarizing i think very marmite i suspect.

My dealer still has no information on the 230 edition despite my several calls to them and registered interest. Baffling really. Has anybody had a 230 on a PCP deal?

I got a quote on a non 0% PCP deal for the VRS 230 over 42 months. 10,000 miles £5,500 deposit payments where still £310+

The skoda I had on order that listed at £1,000 more than the standard 230 came out at £275 a month on the 0%

Tim was that deal on a 230 vRS or the standard vRS? Just trying to get an idea so I can haggle with my dealer 'if' they ever decide they want to sell me one :0/

How?

Collected a new RS 230 Estate on Friday. Went looking last weekend for a replacement of our Impreza that is getting a bit old with the idea of getting a Octavia 4x4 TSI, maybe even a Scout. But the wife saw this in the showroom and said "I want that one!". Deal done.

Nicely equiped and does go well. Ride can be a bit harsh on less than perfect roads but getting used to it. ACC and Lane Control are interesting.

Nice one, grats!

Just £300 deposit?!

I paid 500ish deposit, 42 month/10k 0% @ £297....was for a 2.0 Elegance though.

5.5k deposit on a 42 month 0% PCP to still pay that a month....no thanks!

Have you gone prettt wild on additional spec as I "think" you end up paying for options in full over the term.

Do be aware these things depreciate pretty terribly too....the only reason i am not really miffed with mine at the moment is despite its not worth a fart after 20 months at less than 300/month its still alot of car for the monthly payment.

It was a none 0% PCP, something like 8.9% on the 230. 5.5k deposit and £318 a month. That was a heavily discounted 230.

But even the 0% one was a 27,000 RRP car with discount, a 4K deposit at £265 a month.

The £275 sorry was for he Cupra 280 I've now got.

Weirdly I do like them on the black car.

Did you go for the Leon in the end?  Which colour?  Dealer dropped me an email yesterday saying the 290 is now available for order.  I'm due to go in Wednesday to try out the DSG, though I'm more keen on the manual.

is it a manual or DSG?

Pick it up Saturday!

Really excited but still love the look of the VRS230.

If I win the lottery on Tuesday I'll buy a VRS230 and tune it to quicker than the Leon lol
