Thanks for the comment Ben.

It was a great days detailing for sure. Karl now lives literally 400 yards away - so a good detailing buddy to have around!!

I actually did the Seat Exeo polishing using the 3M rotary for a change - as it had been gathering dust recently.

Really enjoyed it - very quick results using some Scholl S17+ and i'm wondering why i dont use it more!!!  :giggle:

So another day and another car to clean and two new waxes to play with, obsession phantom & phaeena

I have to say this was the first time id used phantom and was blown away with the finish that it left on the black roof was a pleasure to apply and buff off just like phaeena :sun:

Looks good mate. How did you get on with phantom.

Compared to phaenna it didn't seem to spread as well but when came to removal it buffed off with little effort so overall I'm happy with it. I can't comment on beading because it's not rained ( for a change) since I washed the car.

ok mate well I'm glad you like it. I loved the finish it lepton my car. Did you apply panel at a time or whole car etc. I'm just wondering if it Was me that didn't apply it right.

I applied it to the whole car then started to buff off

It's funny how waxes perform different for one person to the next, but glad your enjoying it.

Had a play with Obsession Wax Evolution today on the other half's aygo.

Have to say it's a keeper. Great wax. Left some of it for a couple of hours and wiped off lovely. Spreads for miles as well.

Like those wheels, suit the car, and you can never grow tired of the Race Blue!

Thanks for the comments Gripper - it was sad to see the Exeo go;

the missus and kids loved that car... but now they have the .:R36

...so they can't complain!!! ;)

So they have the R36 - what you running about in?

Cheers ste, just looking forward to giving it a right go over when weather picks up a bit. Ready for the summer

Cheers mate I do love the colour when it's clean really nice to work with too.

For the moment....nowt!

We are a 1 car family for now..... looking at the summer sports car options - but no immediate plans.

Gave the Focus a quick fettle this afternoon ready for spring. Washed then gave it a quick going over with Dodo Juice Lime Prime via rotary polisher on a yellow 3m pad, finished off with Angekwax Fifth Element. Tyres were then dressed with CG New Look Trim dressing and the windows cleaned inside and out with Angelwax Vision. Jobs a good un. 3 hours well spent!

This week's effort. Haven't had time to correct with the DA. This has been thoroughly cleaned, de-tarred, and clayed. Tonight, I applied a coat of jetseal 109,and gave the wheels a very quick clean, and then applied some trim gel to the tyres and trim. Not bad considering I do t think the car has ever seen a polishing machine in its 69k mile life!
