That's 2 coats of the bilthammer wax needed 2 as it seemed 'patchy' did the first layer :-/

Finally got a chance to clean the fabia as i have a few days holiday, and the clean was well overdue, anyways started off using fireball snowfoam, 2bm with britemax Cleanmax Shampoo and dried using fireball drying towel which is amazing.

I then gave the car a quick pre wax cleanse using autofinesse rejuvenate which I haven't used in a while and still impresses me, real good product. I then waxed with obsession wax phantom which again I really not sure if this wax, don't get me wrong when buffed off looks amazing and very glossy but I don't like the way it applies and the work needed to buff off, maybe it's me but other waxes I use are fine, so I am considering selling the wax. I then gave it a coat of datwax on top which I really like used couple panels a time spread lovely and buffed away easy enough too. And finally a final wipe down using madcow ultra violet, defo one of my favourite products really is. Sorry to rattle on here the pics.

It's a shame about the Obsession Wax. From the reviews, I thought it would be better to apply if I'm completely honest. Did you use a damp applicator? Good job it is highly regarded, it shouldn't be difficult to sell.

The cars look great guys!! Making me need to get mine done. Alas, I'm off to Buxton this weekend for a real ale trail while watching the rugby!! The cars can wait. Haha.

Very easy to buff off and left a superb gloss.

Only feedback I provided to the supplier was that it's a little grabby on application. A little QD on the applicator pad helped but didn't stop it grabbing every now and again.

Awaiting some rain now and some beadage!

Hi all, been rather quiet on here lately due to moving etc. On Saturday I helped a chap bring his magic black Fabia vRS back to life.

Around 6 hours in total. Krystal Kleen Detail Re-Gloss topped with Krystal Kleen Details Si-Coat. Finished the car in X2 coats of Defintive Wax 0102.

Paint would benefit from a machine polish so when we have more time I'll more than likely do it for him as I would love to see the outcome. Enjoy the photos!

Sure - hopefully the warmer weather will be along soon and the DA/rotary can come out to play.

 

I just ordered some new pads in readiness for a good polishing session on the .:R36 and the summer sports car.....

Finished in Auto Finesse Finale.

Looking sharp, as always Karl.

 

I like the Adams Wash Pad, and is easily renovated back to normal with a good combing. Finish the combing with a pet brush and your back to new! I've had mine a couple of years now!

 

It's great that your photo's show up on my computer at work too!! What image hosting website do you use? Everyone needs to use it! Haha.
