Thanks Ste.

Two months in with Fifth Element on the Focus and it still looks great, although it is topped with AP Clarity QD so not a true durability test, but who doesn't use a QD!?

That side of the Skoda is wearing KKD Seduction. Another great wax; thanks for the sample buddy. Really appreciate it. Excellent water behaviour and decent durability too!!

After two recent valets by local mobile valeting companies hadn't touched my exhaust tail pipes I gave them a liberal soaking in Wonder Wheels Hot Wheels cleaner let it soak then agitated with one of those plastic metalised scouring pads which has removed over 95% of the baked on crud and they look a whole lot better .. Just need to try some metal polish to see if it will remove anymore and put a bit of protection on them.

I spent all of Sunday washing and machine polishing the wife's car, but was so kn*ckered when I had finished that I didn't have the energy to take any pictures, so spent three and a bit hours washing mine yesterday morning.

Difficult to show the shine on a white car, but I was pleased with it!!  It will get a proper polish when I get time, but spare time seems to be a rare commodity at the moment.

Had a clean on the Mini again today. Seems to be a regular thing and mine just gets neglected!

Went for a combo of rejuvenate by hand, wiped down with envy filler killer then a layer of Waxaddict Quartz. Lovely wax to use, even in the full sun today it buffed off beautifully and left a really nice finish. Probably my favourite wax to date.

Gave this a wash down earlier, having on,y ever had time to polish one side when it was purchased I decontaminated and cracked on with a heavy correction of drivers rear panel, took a lot of time. No swirls now but a couple of deep scratches which I will be touching in and wet sanding to sort. Not bad for 14 year old paint though. Windows were later sealed with some Gtechniq, waxed with AF Desire followed by a coat of AF Temptation.

So the golf had new wheels and tyres fitted over the weekend so it was only right i gave her a quick wash and get the wheels sealed both inside and out (4 coats of ez car care wheel sealant and bouncers wheel wax)

Next on the job list is to get the sills sorted, fit new sill trim on the drivers side and replace the wiring loom on the drivers door (so much for trying to save my money lol)

Cheers ste. There's still so much I want to do both mechanical and body work but I'm slowly getting there and it's already getting admiring glances when I'm out and about
