I wasn't sure about it when I first ordered it, but once I saw it in person I was very happy with it! I'm glad I picked it because as you said, it looks awesome!

my fabia mk3 110 hp petrol manual

Picked up my new Fabia Hatch SE L 1.2 TSI 110 PS DSG (denim blue) yesterday, to replace my old 2011 Mk2 Elegance. Really pleased with the order time - took 6 weeks as opposed to 3 months last time around.

Went for fairly standard but have added satnav, light & rain assist, simply clever pack and spare wheel. Simply clever phone holder is too small for either my Android or the Mrs' iPhone - oh well!

Been out for a first spin, really loving it and seems so much more modern that the Mk2 somehow. Only thing I think I might miss is the air conditioned fridge glovebox for the hot summer months (assuming we get any!).

Cheers

New Fabia III owner here, same paintwork as Mikeee324 blue with black roof, A 110 SEL having changed from a a bonkers Octy III VRs Petrol DSG hatch due to a change in work circumstances.

An ex show room car with 20 (yes twenty) miles on the clock so I still have to run in the engine and geabox. It looks like an early 2015 car so it only has the mirrorlink but this works perfectly with Sygic offline satnav (it's on offer at the moment so I payed fpor the app)

1st impressions:

Likes

  • Looks fantastic in blue with the black roof
  • Mirrorlink: Sygic Nav seems to work well although Emma the sat nav voice could do with speaking up a tad
  • Smooth ride but still reasonable handling
  • Quiet ride compared to the Octy VRs
  • Super slick 6 manual speed gear box
  • That funny front assist RADAR in the front that I want to experience but do not want to test
  • Push button start and stop, I always looked at this as a gimmick at first (and it is) but it works well
  • The sound system works better than expected on SD media, better than the standard system in my Octy to my ears anyway, not that the Octy was bad.

Dislkes:

  • Front arm rest gets in the way for seat belts
  • Front arm rest obscures the hanbrake a tad till you get used to it
  • I have not got used to the reduced size compared to my Octy. Yet. :-)

Overall after 200 miles I like it.

I will update in a few miles.

Loving my Mk 3 Fabia Monte Carlo Estate.

110PS 6 speed in Race Blue.

(Traded up from a Corrida Red Mk2 Fabia Estate).

Much better ride and suspension than the Mk2. Loving the full length glass sunroof.

Downsides; They've taken away the folding rear seat squabs, (so no flat loading area). Sat nav is now only via a smartphone - another minus.

Using Google maps on Android Auto rather than Sygic.
