Superb Order tracker

I think most cars have had dynamic servicing for a number of years now, that is the computer in the car works out when a service is due based on mileage and useage, so a fixed service book would not be much use.

You can download the manuals from this site and they are interactive so easy to browse through.

Hi,

Perhaps i did not make it clear -- the hand book idea , yes i know there's one with the car but i was thinking of obtaining one to "gen up" on the car while i sit here waiting. Service book-- a number of people have pointed out that you get a comprehensive print out of work done IN THE PAST its what will be required IN THE FUTURE that i am not happy about. With our present car i can look at the book and know whats to be done say at 60,000 miles. However all this might be of no consequence as i am mulling over cancelling the order.

Did you order using finance?

Ordered 190hp L&K hatch with ACC extra. Originally given a build week of 1, dealer has come back and said they cant give a confirmed build date as they are short on Alloys and parts for ACC !

Have spoken to the dealer today that I ordered my se business through on Dec 29th with the only extra of heated seats and been told that the current build date is week 13, and likely delivery around mid April, so that would tally with what I was told to expect when I ordered it.

I got the skoda service iOS app and input my vin once built. It downloads the entire brochure for you. Read the lot a couple of weeks before I got delivery.

My skoda dealer said they would give me a print out of all service work carried out in the future as well. Regardless of it being stored on their systems.

What's ACC? Can't see it as an option or do you mean DCC

My SE Business estate was delivered today 19 weeks after order.

If anyone's interested have added some pics to the picture thread.

Ordered 02 Dec 15:

Skoda Superb Estate SE L 2.0TDI 150 PS full leather.

Metallic paint – business grey

Crew protect assistant

Rear side airbags

Spare wheel

19" Phoenix alloys

Heated windscreen

Heated windscreen nozzles

Parking sensors

ISO fix front passanger seat

Hill Hold control

Smartgate

LED pack

Colour maxi DOT trip computer.

Delivery expected early to mid April and I need it in May so not bad if all goes to plan. Here's hoping

I ordered mine about a week after you and have not got a build date yet (confirmed or unconfirmed). Have you recieved this information or is it the dealer just giving you a rough idea?

DCC = Dynamic Chassis Control

ACC = Automatic Cruise Control

(I think)

Acc is standard on everything SE and above.

Been told my car is built and awaiting transport to Germany. Does anyone know where it goes from there if my dealer is the north west of England and more importantly how long does it take?

Not in Ireland

On my way to collect mine :-)

Got my car. What a motor! Such a pleasure to drive. I've come from a 62 plate Octavia vrs TDI (owned from new). Massive upgrade.

Hi,

Been thinking --- the way things are at the factory the cars will be out of date when delivered !

Been told my car is built and awaiting transport to Germany. Does anyone know where it goes from there if my dealer is the north west of England and more importantly how long does it take?

From memory......

It'll arrive at Emden in Germany via train, then it'll be driven onto a Ro-Ro transport ship and sent across the North Sea to (most likely) Grimsby - unless there's another point of arrival even further north?

Us southerners get our cars via Sheerness in Kent.

Then an ECM car transporter will whisk it off to your dealer once the relevent clearance and paperwork is dealt with. After that, there will be the obligatory registration and PDI to sort before handover.

I have been told about 3-4 weeks from production to arrival at the dealership.

Well just had email from dealer mine has gone back to week 7, so abit cheesed of. Had a bit of a moan to dealer and got a reply I was not expecting nothing we can do about it, if you want to cancel let us know we will refund deposit.

Issue is I want car it makes sense with situation change etc, but just skoda uk doing my nut with delays and no real information. Also all finance was worked out with car going back this month so trade it worked out for now, trouble is now looking at mid March delivery so a lot more miles.

Get them to hnour the part ex price or ask for a hire car in the meantime.

Your not alone well cheesed off and what's more they don't seem to care as they have that much pressure on them the loss of one vehicle does not mater nor loss of custom. Never known anything like to get a new car .

I will see what they say dealer ringing me today, not sure they will be able to do hire as I need one with a towbar, and need a detain weight due to licence and limits.

And not sure on holding on px value as fought hard tonged this deal.

If its a massive upgrade for you then i really cant wait. Got rid of my '07 Vx Zafira and left with my old faithful '03 Focus. Im just looking forward to comfort and quiet.

Well spoken to dealer and still going ahead, they will hold px price.

Apparently all the dealers superbs went back a week all customer orders and all their stock orders.

So realistically looking March delivery.

2.0TDI SE Business Manual Estate ordered 11th December

Had an unconfirmed build date of week 11. So hopefully i'll see the car at the end of March or early April :)

Just had my unconfirmed build week pushed from 8 to 9 so looks like bad news for everyone who is waiting. Best get my loan sorted out sharp to buy the octavia from skoda.

Here it is BW 02, the week my SE.L is being built, have now been waiting for 23 weeks. I don't know if I have the courage to ring that most caring of organizations SUK to see if they are really going to actually build the correct car. In the event they do then I fully expect the boat to sink with the total loss of all cars on board!
