Just got my email from Skoda to say entering the factory in the next couple of weeks. One thing I noticed is it says "we'll be spraying it in your chosen Metal Grey Metallic", I assume this is what they call Quartz Grey Metallic as that is what I have ordered. Any of you guys who have Quartz Grey is this what your email said?

This what my email said when I got my quartz grey superb. Sadly I'd ordered petrol blue. Reached a compromise with the dealer and am actually very happy with the grey.

Just had to check my emails from Skoda to make sure they had my colour right! Fortunately the one about the accessories contained the correct colour so I'll go back to the waiting game ☺

In fairness to Specialist Cars in Aberdeen they have phoned or emailed me everytime they had information from the date I ordered the car, and once the build week was confirmed they advised me every week since with the latest information, even when I was in Spain

My first post, but been reading for months!

I ordered my Superb 1.4 TSI SE DSG on 30th September from UK-car-discount.co.uk (with some misgivings - online broker). They quoted a "due to dealer" date of 19th December.

In early December, this was revised to "due to dealer" of 8th Feb. I chased them shortly after that and was informed that it would be delivered to dealer " this month" and available for delivery to me "early March".

Does anyone have experience of this broker? Are they just playing me along / making it up - especially by quoting "due to dealer" dates?

Confirmed build week 11. So i'll be lucky to see it before end of March. Never mind ha.

Ordered 27th November also. Build week 9 so hopefully by end of March in Sweden

Well email from dealer today say built even though skoda uk told me that on Friday replied saying how long till delivery he replied 3 weeks so going to have to tax my current car now. And salesman is away 2-9 March

Was advised on the 27th Jan that it had been built the previous week and was on its way to Emden.

It was still in Emden on the 9th February.

Good news today. Received email from Dealer confirming my car has finally left Emden and is currently on a cruise heading to the Port of Tyne.

He reckons it will be with them early next week for collection around the 5th March

Last Friday told that mine had arrived the previous night and to allow two days to unload and one day to inspect, then a further day to dealer.

 

Today, told that car was off loaded on Friday and to expect delivery to dealer within next two weeks!

 

It was suggested that I contact the dealer to get further updates.

Oh, I ordered mine through them via CarWow, got a cracking price, but only get updates when I chase them, car was due to be built last week but have heard nothing from them at all despite leaving messages. Will try to contact the again today for an update.

That's great news, I am sure you will get to enjoy it more when you go to Rochdale.

Now have a comfirmed BW10.

My car is in the UK now. Dealer quoting 10-15 days till it arrives at dealership, ready for delivery weekend before Easter (hopefully).

 

SE L Estate 150 TDi ordered on 29th Nov with a few options.
