That's amazing......wish I would get mine as quick (also corrida red l&k estate!)

You lucky thing! I ordered my 190 L&K with similar spec and extras four days later and am currently sitting at week 20! It was slipping towards 30 until I changed from brown leather to black, which brought it forward ten weeks!

Something strange is going on somewhere.

Lucky! SE Business no extras, ordered 25 Jan, as of today gone from UC 13 to UC 16. Not happy.

Update from Lease company today that car is en-route & should be with the dealer 3rd week of March & is hopeful of delivery by end of March.... Initial advice was Mid Jan from an order date of 11th Nov !!!

Any idea when it was built?

Mine was built on the 10th Feb...dont know where it is now!

What are typical current lead times for orders last Autumn?

My Superb 1.4 TSI 150 SE DSG, only options Quartz grey metallic and rough road pack, was ordered Sept 30.

Now on week 23 and still can't get a confirmed delivery date.

Is anyone else waiting similar or longer? Or has waited much less?

The last build date I was given was w/c 15th Feb so probably the week after yours ?

Mine away built we 15th Feb and was on Monday still at exit port.

150 TDI DSG L&K Hatch ordered 31/09, still waiting and latest useful info was "should be in stock mid March".

No rhyme or reason is there! Ordered same car as you with a few extras in mid October and being delivered to,my door next Wednesday.

Your not joking there yesterday had a response to the complaint I placed with SUk. What a joke I had the most rude argumentative customer service person ring me up, let's put it this way you could have peeled me off the ceiling when I had put the phone down, even told the dealer that because of skodas response I wish to consider catcalling even if it is being built next week.

Then they tell me that once it's built it will take 6 Weeks to ship it to the dealer, that will be 28 weeks from order. It's become a joke.

By the time we get the car ( s) it will be a case of - Simply ( old & out of date )  clever !

I agree completely. My story ; ordered 190 DSG l&k beige leather on 27th Nov - told build was likely to be early Jan - collect late Jan. I was a happy camper, then the dreaded beige leather issue occurred, and I got build weeks From 20 to 23 to week 39 (2016 I should add) after poor response from dealer and Skoda Ireland, I took up my pen and wrote to the MDs of both organisations and within two days service and responsiveness improved significantly. This week I got a call to say car will be built (including beige leather) by end March and I'll have delivery in April. The moral of my story is complain loudly - don't let them get away with poor delivery - we are paying good money ( for a good motor) but the wait times are criminal, and they'll continue unless the complaints are loud enough. There is a mixture on this site of people who say 'they are busy' or 'I'd rather wait to get good quality' as if we are getting such a bargain that we shouldn't complain. I disagree, if they want their brand taken seriously (and I think they do) they gave to improve the build times - and keep quality.

I think people wouldn't mind so much if, firstly, everyone was getting the same wait time. If we all had, say, 12-14 weeks, and that was kept to, no-one would have a problem with that. But there is a wild variation on how long people are having to wait. Some people who ordered in September still haven't got their car yet, yet someone who ordered in January has already got a confirmed build date. Gives the impression of pushing in the queue (obviously it's not the case as it's beyond the customer's control!)

Secondly, when build dates get pushed back, that's frustrating too. You're gearing up for a brand new car in April and then you're told you won't get it until June.

It's all about managing expectations, and unfortunately, it appears that Skoda aren't doing such a good job in that area at the moment.

Totally agree it is about managing expectations, they forget that forums like this exist.  It would not be a problem I think, or certainly would not have been for me, if Skoda had rung me to say about what was causing the delays.  I would then have been aware, maybe even made the decision to stick with the part that was causing delays (in my case alloys) so each time I see cars being built that were ordered after me I would not have that frustration of feeling that I am being ignored.

Onto happier notes, I had a BW9 and have been told today that it is flagged as "left the factory", so hopefully it will make its way through Emden quickly and over to Lincolnshire.

Ordered my new Superb Combi yesterday, on a lease- 1.6TDI SE Business, Corrida red, with no specified extras. Have been told to expect delivery 15/6

I asked if there were any similar spec cars available for sooner delivery, and was told there's nothing to be had...

If I was conspiracy minded I'd suggest that the S3 getting such rave reviews has prompted VWG to take measures (such as prioritising shared parts towards VW and Audi)  that drive people to their more expensive brands.  It may be that Skoda are literally at the parent group mercy and therefore find it difficult to come up with a message that won't change the next day......

It's on a boat!! Well, actually I think it arrived in port yesterday and skoda haven't had an update on their computer. With a fair wind I may get it at the end of next week (according to the skoda CS man)

I ordered my first Skoda on Dec 2nd to replace my Citroen - (had 6 Citroen's in a row with not a single issue, so for me changing manufacturer was a big thing).  I just cannot believe how long it's taking to get my Superb - now build next week, which by all accounts is actually quite lucky.  I've never waited this long for build and am on the verge of cancelling.  My Citroen goes back (lease) on Friday and unlikely to be in my Superb until after Easter (earliest).  Being car-less for a month is going to be a nightmare.

Emailed Skoda UK, phone call this afternoon from someone who really didn't seem interested - wanting very much to blame the dealer for over-promising.  If they can't be bothered, neither can I and I'm off to look for something else.  So if anyone is in the market for a Superb 2.0D DSG SE Business Estate, Petrol Blue with a spare wheel, there might be one coming available.

At 6 o´clock (Swedish time) this evening we received some great news from our dealer. Not only has our new car been produced it has also left the factory. That´s 12 days after they confirmed that the car was to be built week 9. Spot on and we are now at around 13 weeks from when we placed our order.

The salesman had not received any specific date on when it will be in Sweden but he did give us information about our new plates - the vehicle registration number . Very excited to hear from him again.

Be patient everyone like me that are still waiting. I am sure it is going to be worth it.

Ordered my SEL exec on 23rd January, was originally told May / June delivery.

It soon went to unconfirmed build week 10, then on Monday the dealer confirmed BW10 and I had the your Superb enters our factory email on Tuesday.

I've got the following options, so it doesn't seem they are causing delays:

KESSY

Pegasus wheels

Steering wheel with paddles

Colour maxi dot

Front and rear parking sensors

Heated screen

Heated washers

Smart gate

Travel assist

Rear wiper

Hopefully be with me late March / early April

Weekly update told me that estimated week 41/2016 for my L&K is not valid any more. After week 42 they said 24 and then 41. Now I can't be sure the delivery will happen in 2016. This is crazy. They push to change interior trim to black, but I want beige... It drives me to cancel the order, but in other side, It's not needed now - I can wait, but it would be nice to go for the holidays with new car.

Well my car is built yesterday and is on its way should have it 3 weeks from now according to dealer. Ordered went in 8th Jan quartz grey combi 190 dsg l&k

Well just spoke to SUK again today and apparently mine has arrived in sheerness today and is being unloaded as we speak, I had a bit of a vent at then as also sent an email to managing director yesterday moaning. So let see what happens.

Potentially at dealership middle next week  collection some time after.

I was in the same situation. Finally after several e-mails and change of interior to black (was beige originally) got a build date.

Not sure what to think anymore... A friend of mine with L&K (ordered Aug) just received mail with VIN and engine number and car is with brown leather....

But it worth to give them some "heat", even complain to Czech.
