Yes. Old bonelorry  has raised the game and taken it to a new level. I recently sorted my garage with new shelves etc. I was rather pleased with my efforts until I saw Bonelorrys  garage.

Just taken my bike for its MOT, which it passed and shame on me if it didn’t. What is shameful is only 349 miles between tests! I can’t complain though as the dog, which is taking up my spare time, is bringing so much joy.

Thanks Guys, The Garage was built in 2017 by Compton garages. It is of Prefab Type but I went for the Apex roof with Guttering and Cement Filleting, It also had a new Concrete Base and I the kitted the Garage out bit by bit over a Year with Power and its own RCD Board, Carpeting etc.

Its a really decent size 23ft long x 13ft wide with a 9ft Wide Door, I can fit the Fabia VRS in and 3 Bikes comfortably. That is including a considerable amount of space at the Bottom end that is permanently taken up by the Toolboxes and Racking etc.

I had the Door put in offset to the right, This allows me to drive the Car straight in off the Driveway and theres space down the Left for a couple of Bikes

The Carpet Tiles are Heavy Duty, I bought them from a shop near Chesterfield, 50mm x 50mm as they had a job lot in the Grey and didn't cost too much. They fit perfectly 7 Width Ways = 3.5M upto the Cement Fillet.

You have probably guessed by now I have a bit of an OCD, Cars, Bikes and Garage...Not to fussed about the House :D

A couple of pics...

Last Autumn, My Suzuki GSXR600 L3, My Honda CB500S Winter Hack and my Uncles Triumph Trident 900 which I did a bit of recommissioning on after been stood 5 Years...

Did a few more little jobs on the ZX10R last Weekend...

: Removed the Fairings
: Fitted New Evotech Radiator Guard
: All the Headers, Collector and CAT ACF50'd
: Fitted R&G Engine Case Savers
: Fitted R&G Fork Protectors

I think that they are very subtle but purposeful upgrades.

Happy New Year everyone!

Managed the first ride of 2019 today, Since getting my Car Parking space back in early December I have been commuting in the Car everyday and as such I have not used the Fazer at all for well over 3 Weeks now.

It was given the usual once over, Thoroughly washed, Dried, Everything Lubricated/Adjusted, ACF 50'd and put away on the Optimiser in the Garage.

I have been having withdrawals from riding over the XMAS period    so decided to get out for a few Hours today while the Sun was out and the roads where relatively dry.

Still not ZX10R weather but ideal for the Fazer, Covered about 70 Miles of mixed riding around Yorkshire/Derbyshire and really enjoyed it.

I had this delivered today

2019-01-03_06-53-20

However they forgot a link pipe so it's currently looking like this

2019-01-03_06-54-46

The link pipe is coming tomorrow so it just needs slotted together and tightened in place. They (Delkevic) were brilliant when I rang them so kudos to them.

I'm going to give it a good clean and ACF50 it tomorrow too ready for work next week. Urgh.

Not bad for the money are they.

They’re  based above DK motorcycles in Stoke. I popped in once to pick a system up for vfr. Really nice bloke, very helpful.

It was really good value, plus on new years eve eBay had a 10% off everything code so I saved £35. A full system for £320 in my view is brilliant, I was initially looking at a de-cat pipe for £90 and the silencer I got would be £170 so I only paid an extra £60 for a full system.

DK are the company who the DPD email say are sending it so I wonder if they're related companies.

I fitted Delkevic downpipes to Mrs Cakemonter's CBR6 - the fit was good,

just don't do what I did when running it for the first time to check for leaks, I slipped and my knuckle touched the header... :crying::sweat:

Ouch! That's my next job as the flanges on the header don't look like they're touching the engine but the nuts are tight and look as far in ad the standard ones did. I'm going to start it once the ACF50 is drying

The flanges on yours look the same as the CBR's (probably cut from the same plate for all the flanges) I think I'd be more worried if the flanges were touching the head - at least you know they aren't bottoming out without compressing the gasket

If DK had anythin to do with it im sure theyd be twice the price. Everythings daft money in there :D

Looks good that!

Pleased?

Thanks!

Yes, if nothing else it saves a load of weight - the standard system weighs £17kg. It sounds great too, which wasn't hard from the original but I'm very pleased.

Less weight is always a winner. No negatives about that!

Treat the ZX10R to an Exhaust, Went for the Quality option and Just waiting for it to arrive...

Akrapovic BSB Style Carbon/Titanium Hexagonal Can
Akrapovic Optional Titanium Link Pipe (Removes OEM CAT)

Plan is to fit the Can but retain the OEM CAT until the Bike is out of Warranty, Then if I feel the desire for a bit more Power then remove the OEM CAT and fit the Titanium Link Pipe and then get the ECU reflashed OR fit a Rapid Bike EVO Module.

Bearing in mind these are a 200BHP at the Crank Bike out of the box they also have to meet Euro 4 Emission Regs for manufacturing Laws but as Motorcycles are not tested for Emissions as part of the MOT removing the CAT is no issue legally.

The OEM CAT weighs quite a lot, I think I read that the difference between the Akro Can/link Pipe and the OEM items is about 10KG! It puts the ZX10R down to around 195KG Fully Fuelled. Apparently the Stock Fuel Map is very reserved too Again for Emmisions So removing the CAT and getting the ECU Custom Mapped makes a huge difference, They also make alterations to the Ignition Map, Secondary Butterflies Which smoothens the Throttle and Blank off the Pair Valves on the Airbox.

Most Bikes I have seen that are De-Catted/Remapped are making 20BHP More across the Mid-Range and 12-15BHP more Peak and circa 190BHP at the Wheel.

I have to admit, When I had a ZX10R on loan last August I never felt it lacking anywhere it was phenomenal but the general consensus from pretty much everyone on the ZX10R Owners Clubs is to ditch the OEM CAT as it totally transforms the Bike.

Sold the Fazer!

Although I enjoyed my Ride out on New Years Day I was thinking that come March when I Tax the ZX10R that the Fazer would be sat unused for 6 Months which is a waste.

I have a substantial amount tied up in the ZX10R which is fine but I also am in the process of having a new Kitchen fitted along with knocking a few Walls out to make it more open plan which as you can expect has gone over budget....Oh and I am getting Married this Year too :D

Basically/Apparently we NEED a New American Style Fridge Freezer and New Flooring throughout the Kitchen/Dining room so I advertised the Fazer on ebay Monday Afternoon, It was sold by Wednesday Lunchtime for the asking price and the Sale of the Fazer will be enough to finish everything off.

The joys :giggle:

Nooooo, a reduction in the fleet is never good :crying:

The current Mrs Cakemonster has her own CBR600, and a Mini Cooper, so fingers crossed, the Triumph would be safe.... And she doesn't understand what happens in the kitchen

Congratulations on the pending nuptials by the way!
