^^  looks nice that does.

Is that a 944 in the background :)

I asked the same thing and was told it is a 924...you live and learn :)

That looks amazing!

As a complete numpty when it comes to detailing, what happens next as you drive your car over the coming weeks and months? I presume that "normal" muck and stuff won't stick you your car like it would to a mere mortal one... Does that mean that in between times you give it a quick pressure wash and it returns to this level of shine? How often do you need to get it back into the specialist for a re-do? How much would this cost? What do you do in between by way of cleaning/waxing/polishing (hours per week?!?).

Am just wondering whether a lazy so and so like me would get any benefit after the initial "wow".......

I'm going to wash this by hand once every 3 weeks or so, having spent the time and money on the protection I'd like to minimise swirls and scratches. Matt gave me a cleaning plan ;)

It has had Sonax Nano extreme applied which I am led to believe will mean less resistance for grit and dirt / dust.  So pressure wash / snow foam, rinse two bucket wash and dry.  I'm not sure when I will need to coat it with a wax etc (I will have to ask) but the protection should last in theory approx 12 months. Time will tell

Cheers both, would love to have a car that looks this good on an ongoing basis..... However, feel that my historically lackadaisical approach to car cleanliness would not bode well for the future despite how much I might like the thought of driving a shimmeringly beautiful automobile.

The lack of pricing info leads me to the conclusion that the cost of this type of service is high (paying someone more than £200 per year for me would be out of my comfort zone). Acquiring the skill and having the time to use my own personal elbow grease rather than paying for someone else's might not cut the mustard with my cost/benefit analysis process either...

Oh well, it's a company car and life is truly very short :-)

Definitely a 944, 924's don't have flared rear arches unless it's a GT which it is not, I'll take my anorak off now

Recently had my SIII SE Business given a new car detail, which included interior and exterior protection by Matthew at Off your Marks nr Warrington in Cheshire.

I'm very happy with the results and the service.

How much did that set you back if you don't mind me asking?

It's film MartiniB

Makes such a difference to the look of the car I think really like it and had a lot of comments from my friends saying it looks nicer with black roof and mirrors

I'm jumping in with a little message for you. Notice that a few of you guys are swedes. We do have a folder for swedes in the regional forum that ColinD helped me set up.

Thanks!

Yes, I couldn't wait for a new car to be built, so i found 4 Superb in Sweden (from Kiruna to Örebro) that had my kind of spec. Möllers had two cars I could go for, ended up with this one.

Tomorrow will be a 400km ride to Kolmården zoo, with the whole family. I'm looking forward to the trip :-)

The estate looks really nice in silver.

I'd actually ordered quartz grey, this was an alternative that was offered early - I prefer it silver now I've seen it, looks great with the sun on it and really shows up the contours of the bodywork.

Did a bit of C.Quartz of CarPro coating last Sunday in the local garage.  Here the outcome strait out of the box. Last few days I am happy as we god sunny weather here in Dublin , so my car getting shinier every day. Will wash a do proper shoot at the weekend.

When my S3 arrives I'll do this....

Pressure wash

Snow foam

Pressure wash

Iron X

Pressure wash

Clay bar

Carlack sealant

Final coat of a good canuba wax
