Hello, I have a 6 cd changer under my passanger seat and I have taken my car to numerous shops but none of them know how to remove it or what the problem is, basically it isn't powering up and I don't understand why, I was wondering if there was anyone in Birmingham or anyone local who could take a look or at least guide me in the right direction

There's a connector under the seat that you can access from the rear footwell, to take the unit out you'll need to remove the whole seat, it's a pretty easy job to do

As above. Cd changer is mounted with a bracket either side holding it onto the seat frame. The loom for it runs under the carpet to behind the radio. You can check it's plugged in and it's condition by sliding passenger seat forward and then having a look underneath from the passenger rear footwell.

I've had a look and it all looks intact, I have taken it a few shops but none know how to remove it to take a look

To remove it its best and easiest to remove the front seat. M10 spline needed for the four seat bolts I think.

If it turns out yours is broken you can buy mine, it is not compatible with my new head unit any longer.
