Hello together

I get the FW per PM (thanks a lot to aki78).
In the file, did reading the update is for the Bolero and Amundsen.
Is it possible to install the FW to a Columbus, is that the file with Pro in the name?

i know this is the wrong topic for MIB2 units, but since you are talking about firmwares and such.
I have fabia 3 manufactured on 04/2016 with Bolero. Sadly our company guy do not know anything about modern technologies and ordered it without Smartlink.

Is it possible to reflash Bolero unit to support this feature? Official Skoda is now help, they say it cannot be done.

Display problem when installing rear view camera.

 

After reading your posts, if I understand well your comments, because my English isn’t good, you are meaning that:

• Radio Bolero or Amundsen, with old firmware version, doesn’t shows park assist vehicle drawing, in display left side area, when rear view camera is active. Is this OK?
• Radio Boleroor Amundsen , with new firmware is showing OK park assist vehicle drawing in display left side area, when camera is active. Is this OK?

 

The Bolero radio I have is the model 5E0 035 842A made on May 2014:

I experienced the same, you need to restart (reboot) your headunit after coding.

Otherwise you will see only the camera picture. Things should work fine after.

Press and hold the POWER button for cca. 10-15 seconds until Skoda logo appears again.

You probably don't need to code the park assist module.

I have only rear parking sensors and it works fine with just coding the 5F.

With your 0435 FW you will have the 'advanced' display with transparent background.

Check the youtube videos in post #99 to see the difference.

(FYI: you must have the factory bluetooth module to see the camera picture.)
