Following delivery of my Superb III my MK1 Fabia VRS is for sale.

Stunning Corrida Red paintwork with standard VRS two tone grey sports interior.

 

The car is very original and in good order throughout. The Colour is bright with a deep shine and  bodywork is very straight with only a few minor stone chips (that have been touched up) and barely perceptible parking dings (the type you only ever notice after you have had a car for a few weeks!). The interior is well kept and unmarked (I have shampooed twice in the last 12 months), no rips, tears or wear on bolsters or elsewhere.

 

As mentioned above the car has been kept standard and so the spec is typical VRS fare, however,  some points to note are; factory fitted rear sunblind, VRS floor mats, ESP, original steel spare with Bridgestone tyre and tool kit.

 

I have owned the car since November 2014 when I chose to opt out of my company car scheme as I didn't fancy being stuck with a bog standard A3 or Golf diesel. The VRS ticked all of the boxes, cheap to buy and run, reputation for reliability and good economy. I have not been let down on any level.

 

The particular car was chosen because it was a later plate, was free of any aftermarket modifications, had FSH (including the cambelt) and was a low enough mileage. I cover circa 20-30K every year so needed a vehicle with no more than 55K at purchase.

 

Prior to purchase the dealer I purchased from had the door membranes sealed as it was a little misted up (problem solved) serviced and MOT'd the car. The mileage at purchase was circa 52,000 since this time I have covered circa 20,000 miles.

 

In the last 20,000 miles with the car I have experienced no issues with the car at all. The vehicle has transported me all over the SE for work (nothing carried but me!) and the family down to Cornwall and the South of France without hint of any fault or hiccups.

 

In total the car has been serviced 10 times since 2007, with services at 8,540, 13,653, 20076, 24203, 31498, 38878, 45990, 52270, 63000, 71692.

 

The cambelt was changed at 38,878 in November 2012.

 

The last 3 services were carried out since November 2014. The last 2 at Norton Way Skoda, with the latest on the 06/11/15.

 

The car has a fresh MOT (no advisories) which expires 03/12/16.

 

Front discs and pads and rear discs renewed in June 2015. 2 x Toyo Proxes have been fitted within the last 50 miles. The other 2 tyres are Nexen and have 5mm of tread. All wiper blades were changed at MOT.

 

Given the mileages I cover and the reliance I have on my cars to do my job I try to ensure they are correctly maintained and cared for.

 

It is a great little car, I am only selling as I needed to get something more befitting of my new job grade for when I arrive at meetings and cannot justify the cost of keeping two cars when saving for a wedding and a new family home!
