VW Emissions Scandal Thread V2

Y Aegr valve failed, they replaced it, no questions really answered. Felt like SKODA UK had my Skoda dealers lips sealed. It cost me nothing to sort but time and used holidays.

However they say the handbook does not give the right guidelines.

cleaning the fileter at 2500 reeves will not keep the EGR clean, only 3000 revs for a good 20 mins or more.

If people were really smart they'd ban big cities. They're the cause of all these problems.

Really?

Wouldn't surprise me in the slightest.

I get the impression that Bosch were complicit also.

I thought I read previously that Bosch had warned VW against tampering with their components.

Probably a highly sanitised version (by Bosch) that I read was more along the lines of "yes we can write the software to do that, but obviously only for internal use, would be illegal for production release..."

one down........quite a few more to come.....hopefully

Expect more lies and denial

We and maybe Auto Express, Autocar, What Car etc can watch how well ARNOLD CLARK MOTOR GROUP & SKODA UK / VW GROUP deal with this members issues.

No more' DAS AUTO', just HONESTY and no more treat like Mushrooms, excuses of Data Protection, Company Policy to keep owners in the dark & shovel with sh!te  from the VW GROUP or allowing Official Dealerships to.

& Another.

Surely time Chris Graying MP or Michael Gove MP or the Westminster Transport Select Committee are getting on with dealing with

the VW Group in the UK and seeing if this sort of treatment to UK owners of affected vehicles is acceptable to the VW Group & the sort of treatment of customers they have promised and told elected members of the UK parliament that owners would receive,

or if the Government need to take legal actions against the VW group on UK citizens behalf.

Thanks for the very useful  contribution to the matter in hand, great help!.

Not a stupid man, or one that never knew what was happening all around him for the past 20 years. Not senile or Deaf / Blind.

I would put a Cash Money bet on him not being in charge for the next 3 years to retire from the job he is now in.

Surely the knock on the door in the early morning is coming and the USA asking for him to be extradited.
