Perhaps a fear of Manafort type behaviour.

Love how it gets reported that German Car Manufacturers Employees are not likely to ever appear in a court in the USA as Germany will not allow them to be extradited.  

So i take it they stay within the borders of Germany for the rest of their lives rather than just go and face the music, and if they committed the crime they are being alleged of they do the time.

Vorsprung Durch Technik, if you can deny things just do it, and then just stay away from answering questions in a court of law.

Certainly not in the same league as VW -  x10 is simply par for the course.   Nowhere near VW’s 35-40 times.
