Great link and better than the U tubes I’ve looked at - my drivers electric window cable has become disconnected - motor is going something clunking inside cable snapped unhooked .  Will have a look and take it off tomorrow.  

I understand that you can just get a cable kit for £30 rather than the whole motor and cable kit @ £120?

 

You might find that the cable is corroded as water drips down onto the spool by the motor. This is what happened to me, though thankfully it was a warranty job.

I had the same problem mate and used this kit, it is a bit of a pig of a job though.
