VCDS Error: Request out of Range

Featured Replies

Hi, guys,

On my old 2009 Superb, I used VCDS to set my fuel consumption reading to be accurate.

I've just tried it on my new 2012 Superb and - no matter what new % value I enter in - it reads "Error: Request out of Range".  I'm going in through 17Instruments>Adaptation

Any ideas?

You may need a security access code - try 20103.

Many thanks, Andy; I'll give that a go. Where do I enter that number?

Hi, Andy,

That DIDN'T work, but this time VCDS ACCEPTED my setting.  Go figure...

Thanks for your help.
