No idea, but if you send an enquiring e-mail to Awesome GTi with details of your car, they should be able to tell you if it's possible...

There isn't a cable attached to the thottle pedal, just an electronic pot with wires attached!:)

I would suggest that using CC other than to maintain a cruising speed amounts to misuse of it and is asking for trouble. I wouldn't dream of using it on surfaces which were slippery due to heavy rain, snow or ice, nor on a series of bends where in normal driving you would be varying throttle input to help maintain roadholding.

Er Yes, my question was really a technical one for 4x4 owners who may also be going the K-cruise route. ie Does ESP/4x4 system over-ride cruise in extreme situations ? What happens on the motorway at a steady cruise if you hit ice ? (Its a theoretical question)

My Legacy 2.5 had cruise and 4x4 but I didn't use it when the conditions were obviously cold enough for ice at speed.
