Cruise Control Retro Fitting

Featured Replies

Am looking into putting together a cruise control package (supply and fitting) and aiming for it to be quite competitively priced in comparison to those already out there.

But I need to gauge how many people would be interested in having this done.

Cheers.

Denis,

not sure whether this is Octy only; how different are the stalks and wiring loom for the Fabia?

IIRC isnt it far more difficult to retrofit cruise on a fab ?

Adrian, you will need to ask K.

That's the only reason I am buying my furbie ;)

Bloody nigh on impossible to get CC retro fitted on a Furby.

Messes with the wiring loom or so I am led to believe

My last few cars have had cruise but, to be honest, I don't find many occasions when I can use it on UK roads. Too much traffic.

It's brilliant on the continent -I once had cruise engaged for over 3 hours at a stretch on French roads.

Over here, it's about 3 minutes, as the traffic bunches up again.....

BIG K - weren't you up for doing this as well ?

Either way - I'm in M Keynes and if it was around the

Cheers.

Adrian.

Adrian,

Will this be a time-limited offer?

I'll definitely be interested in 3 to 4 weeks, but i really need to clear the Visa balance before i start spending again :D
