Yes for me, but not in Orange.

Its better looking than the new Octavia VRS, bigger than a Fabia, its got a great engine, cheaper than the golf, better handling than the VXR.

Off to have a test drive next week. Has rave views in the press so I'm expecting it to be good :D

Would agree with you both, on paper and based on press reviews it seem a great car.... but don't you think in a year to 18 months time it may have the reputation of being a "Clit" car ??

Edit: ScoobyChris - hope you'll be posting a review !

I would swap no problem,a re-map,exhaust,induction kit,intercooler etc and you've got a 300bhp car for alot less than £20K.

and if you can get one from a internet place as i have seen at £14,800 an absolute bargin.

in White for me though!!!!

You might get away with it in Essex.

John.

Why just 'vrs' owners????????

anyway, no for me as it's too Essex.

You mean "Get away from anything made by Skoda on winding Essex B roads" ;)

get one in panther black without any stripes and it's all good. looks quite nice from this angle too...

Coming from somebody who wanted to fit a Fabia WRC spoiler to his standard Fabia vRS

The Focus ST looks set to be a corker, can see it become as common as muck, but who cares if its a great car

I was tempted - but I've decided to stick with the vRS - the focus has the potential to loose even more money than the octavia.

Plus there is more room in the Octavia (not important to all I know)

Yes please make mine Orange. Waiting now have my name down for a test drive.

£15.5K for an ST 2 from Best4Cars.....

It may go like muck off a spade but the only thing I see when it was on Top Gear was a chavved up rep-mobile. I really don't like the Focus shape.

The Focus design looks really dated and besides any tarted up Focus looks like a wide boy car. Not for me although I notice voting is 50-50 at the minute but then i'm still to vote.

I think the ST is a bit delicate though too. It's stuck together with some sort of glue which can fail if there's too much stress put on the chassis. Could be wrong though.

Err, correction, Bud.

The WRC spoiler has been 'sourced' from a CZ supplier for about

Again, I plead with people not to buy a focus... they BREAK! I'm gonna be on my third focus in three months, good job they're fleet car's if it was my money, I'd be throwing the keys in the dealers face and asking for my cash back!!!! it remains to be seen if this third one will last six months! (bloody car of the year my ***!)

it was a yes for me... ive read loadsa and seen loadsa reviews on the focus ASBO and everybody has nothing but good comments about it.. the noise it made aswell was pretty nice..... if i wasnt to get the rx7 i think i would trade ma fabia vRS next year sumtime for it...and strange enough i liked the orange just made it stand out justa bit more and the ASBO if one criticism about it was that it was to understated... then if they realse an RS model then hopefully that will look the muts nuts.........who knows but it was a deffo for yes for me.

sharkrider u must be unlucky cos i had a focus for a courtesy car for like 2 weeks... and tbh i drove the tits of the thing, taking it over speed humps to quick,, jumping it and balding the tyres and it didnt brake down once...nothing fell off and i didnt have to ring the emergency ford number......theres a bad egg in every box tbh

I know this is definitely a problem with the Focus RS - not sure about the ST

If they can take the 5 cylinder petrol turbo from Volvo, why can't the drop the 5 cylinder 163 or 185 bhp diesel also from Volvo in there? Then I'd be tempted. After driving the Fabia VRS for almost 2 years I'm never going to buy a 30mpg car!

too c.h.a.v. if you ask me

 I think someone's pulling your plonker, mate ;)

No really, it's something to do with joining lightweight composite materials to the normal materials in other parts of the car. They haven't quite mastered it yet. I think it was in Autoexpress.
