Volkswagen recalls 614 Skoda Superb III

Featured Replies

I'd say the the vehicles are recalled because connector T2a on the relay may not be fixed properly. This may cause failure of some electronic functions (for example, starting the car, opening the trunk lid, operation of indicator lights

Doesn't affect UK but could if you live in Russia; in the sense of a full blown recall.

It also effects the UK, a few have been back for this check

Not a recall though, more a service campaign I guess.

Mine went in on Friday afternoon - a 5 minute check and I was out again, no problems found.

Thank you for your answers. I guess it is not a serious problem then, but one none the least that Skoda is addressing with either a general recall or service check depending on the market. Hopefully all sorted out before my car is built and delivered.

There will always be a few hiccups like this on the production line of a new model. As much as we would prefer NOT to see it.......

Non only in Russia....I'm from Italy and my S3 it's been recalled few days ago for the same reason.

It also affects Ireland, and cars can either be booked in to check, or it will be looked at, when car is in for first service.
