I've not spotted any other threads about this, but I hope it helps someone else.

 

After being out in mist / fog thick enough to use my fog lights, I was a bit disappointed with the amount of light they throw onto the road.  If I sit up high, I can just about see beyond the bonnet the line the beam makes on the ground!

 

Having put new bulbs for my dipped / full beams in, I thought I'd look and see what I could do with fogs, before I looked for bulbs for them to.

I think I've found an adjustment screw. The torx in that came with the spare wheel kit seems a little short and maybe not quite big enough size to turn the screw, and the protective cover makes it a bit more difficult.  I've not yet done anything to it yet, but I presume I should be fairly safe to try tweaking it a bit, as long as I don't try and get them aimed higher than the cutoff on the dipped beams

 

 

I think rough advice is a 4inch drop over 25ft for fog lights rather than trying to keep them under the dipped beams
