My vrs 6 months in.

The FL yeti had just been discontinued. There isn't a mk2 yeti planned.

As for the steering controller, the FL yeti version probably won't fit. There are about 3 different steering module versions depending on vehicle age which aren't physically compatible. You'll probably need to source a module separately.

Over and out................

Thanks Dan, this is a lovely motor that will be looked after.

Not sure I'll start a project thread though as you haven't left much for me to do.

I have already installed v14 maps thanks to *murph*

I will reinstall my dash cam tomorrow, have it booked in for a cambelt and water pump next week and MAY look to retrofit a flat bottom steering wheel in the coming months.

Other than that, I just intend to enjoy her.

Thanks again pal.

Ok thanks. I'll test it first then before removing trim and hard wiring.

Tubbytommy never got round to fitting the heated seats 😢

It is a shame that many of tubbytommys original photos have now disappeared on this thread.

I have added a few more, if there are any others you can think of, let me know.

I advertised this on Autotrader 3 weeks ago and it went to its new owner this morning three years after I bought it from tubbytommy.

I genuinely have never been so sad to see a car drive away with its new owner. It's definitely the best of all the 6 MK2 Octavia's I've owned in the last 10 years but I doubt I'll ever own another MK2 again.

The new owner is not a member on here but I have pointed him in the right direction and hope he joins 👍

I finally replaced this with a SEAT Leon FR ST this week. I'm still staying with the forum as we have a MK3 Fabia too.

No sign of the new owner joining yet but hopefully he will be along soon 👍
