It look's like I'll probably be on a day off when I get it anyway -- but if not I'm sure he will, he gave me the afternoon off for the roadtest

I'm awaiting my new blue vRS but even if it becomes the most common of the new Octavia vRS' I don't mind because I think it's the best looking. I have seen (and driven) the black and silver models and they don't have the panache that the blue exerts. My previous cars have been red (current Fabia), maroon or black and I feel like changing.

At the dealer I visited they said that the majority of Octavia vRS' on their ordering system were blue and this is for all cars and Skoda dealers throughout the UK. The fact is that blue is going to be the most common colour so let's just accept it.

My next one will be BLUE to match the Dream Machine paint job on my Kawasaki ZZR1100.... But then again it could be silver to match my ZZR1200... what colour is the new ZZR1400? Looks like blue to me!

Is blue going to be a common colour ??? I would say a big YES to that, I went to the dealership yesterday to see my new car -- they have a race blue in the showroom and there was another one in the lot next to mine !! also a Mazda in front that's exactly the same colour !!!!!

It hasn't all been plain sailing -- the multifunction wheel I wanted couldnt be had, luckily I found out in time that it would have come with a normal 4 spoke Elegance wheel !!

Then Skoda said I couldnt have heated seats ??

I now I find that although it has the auto wipers I ordered, it doesnt have the Auto lights function !!

Although from what I've heard the tunnel light thing can be a pain in the derrier anyway !!!

Well actually having re-read it it says "what colour would you get" - so I guess I could vote, but I don't actually _want_ one, so it's still not applicable.

Saw my first blue one on the road the other day (caught my eye) double take sort of thing!! and today at the dealers (demo sold!) nice and the wife liked the colour too, shame about the interior!

Blue has some energy. On late nineties blue was quite succesfull on Peugeot 309 GTI 16v - I just had black 309 GTI 5door version. Nice anyway.

But back to today... Peugeot 307 1.6 XR Wagon is now history.

On 10.5.06 I order Octavia Combi 2.0 TDI DSG.

Hi, I am new to this site but was advised by my local dealer to look you guys up. I am test driving the vRS this morning with a view to ordering today. I don't expect any issues with the test deiver, having driven the Golf GTI I expect a similar level of performance.

On the subject of colour, the dealer tells me he is selling 3 blue to one of every other colour. My personal choice is black, very much on the basis of what has been mentioned ealrlier, it looks "moody", considering aftermarket privacy glass as well which will give it an even more sinister look.

Have not seen any of the other colours yet, but to me the blue just looks soooo lush. Am very keen to see a yellow one though, so I may change my vote later

since picking up my blue vrs 3 months ago I've yet to see another one, in fact the only other octy2 vrs ive seen on the road was red.

With the furby vrs it took about a year before i started to see any number of others and only now are they approaching being common!!!
