PCP/PCH

BMK are you getting a tube of KY jelly with that deal?

Basically they've over valued your car by 500 and given you 500 discount. That's terrible, ask around but 7 to 9 % discount should be achievible.

  • Not true and all, I had a booklet through for mine showing what classed as 'wear and tear' which included curbed wheels and small scratches and dents as acceptable.

  • Most reputable lease companies (including Skoda UK) are members of BVRLA. If they aren't then walk away.   By being a member they agree to adhere to the BVRLA's guide for acceptable wear and tear...

  • Friend of mine has just got a M140i on a £300 a month PCH deal.........took me for a spin in it the other day WOW WOW WOW WOW!

Personal Lease example for VRS 230 Manual (without ooptions) & same term length. Adding the options should not cost much extra. You'll save ~£8K over 3-years by leasing the exact same car. That's a lot of gummy-bears.

*Deposit £1420

*36x £237

*Mileage 10,000 pa

When I purchased my VRS TSI (220) via PCP the deal was:-

*Deposit £2000

*42x £301

*Mileage 10,000 pa

*GFV £9,800

My Dealer offered a nice discount, 0% APR plus 3-years free servicing. I would have taken a Lease deal instead if I knew about them then. From now onwards I will Lease my new cars.

Absolutely - PCH all the way. Even if you add on the options it will still be considerably cheaper I would have thought.

Think the dealer will be laughing all the way to the bank with that deal - definitely shop around!

Lease. That dealer package is terribly poor value.

Had a figure from dealer and however they work it out part exchanging my blackline against 1.4SE Sport

with £1000 and £500 fuel card and 0% from Skoda :-

36x £252.85 and the car is mine  as p/x covers deposit and final payment (given as cashback upfront)

This doesn't seem to bad to me and saves me the hassel of selling privately as I probably wouldn't get £10000 for it

Any idea where you get these booklets?

Just had mine delivered from VWFS :)

I'm sure if you google, an online version is easily found :)

Apologies wrote that like a idiot :D

I am Part-exing my current car, valued at £6500 but pushed them to £7000.

Deposit on the car is £5000 (£2000 from skoda + £3000 from part-ex)

42months@£330

final value= £9950

+ £500 discount on car value from skoda as well.

GAP insurance for me is £399 seems steep compared to others but still considering for peace of mind. Is it worth it?

VRS230, black metallic, winter pack, rear camera and forgot Canton speakers.

GAP Insurance can be had for sub £200 from the forum sponsors or companies such as ALA. I take it £399 is the Skoda Finance GAP Insurance?

Look at the PCH deal Simpsons and other dealers have on offer on a vRS - £2250 deposit £179 per month.

The deal you are looking at is extremely expensive in comparison.

andyvee, check you're inbox please :)

thanks.

Try HERE. I think this is what you are looking for. It is the BVRLA guide - VW finance abide by these rules...............Tony

That's an old guide, says it's applicable to GE Capital unil 2010.

Try this one instead, it's for Lex Autolease so not specifically Skoda Finance, but I've just compared it to the booklet I received when I took out my PCH deal in March 2016 and it's pretty much identical:
