Afternoon

 

After long research I decide to buy a Skoda Fabia Monte Carlo this month but I need it modified for the cruise control. I check different site and that I found this could be before I purchase it.

 

So after speaking to people regarding this and that I said I paid for it to be done I though great as comes in hands for motorway drive I do for work.

 

So I part with mine hard earn cash and paid for the car and  modified for the cruise control I check with the Skoda dealership to make sure that everything be ready for me pick on day.

 

So advise me that everything was ok and that I thought that ok however on later Thursday evening this said could I delay by hour to pick the car I thought fine no be big deal.

 

I arrive at the Skoda dealership and sign all the paperwork for both vehicle then after hour wonder what was going on all to be told order wrong part for the model of the car and that tried take one from car lot.

 

This was no joy at all and that couldn't undone all the paperwork because it would put another driver on mine V5 document so in the end after six hours there we agreed to leave the car and waiting for it to be sorting.

 

So there lend me a car and that advise me there drop of the car to mine place of work but the question I asking what compensation should be I be looking at here being fair to all as loss day wage and not going to get the car till Tuesday that being five days without it.

 

Any thoughts or views?

My view would be to not bother chasing for compensation and just accept things do go wrong sometimes.

 

Either that or reject the car and start looking again, perhaps for one that already has CC, to save you any further headaches.

Thanks for email and that drop,lucky for a change. After speaking to them there decided to bring the car to me with full tank of diesel and put a contribution of £100 towards the costs.

I well please with it but it take some adjust to get use time it and another question are you get additional controls for it.
