Very nice!!! I've just bought a FL mk2 hatch but if I had the available funds this would have been my first choice.

I think you have the exact option list I would have looked for.

Is it a TDI or petrol?

Cheers dave. I did want a moon white and this spec but I think that would have been impossible to get. Sorry forgot to put this down. 2.0tsi dsg 220

Phew!!! I'm a diesel fan, if you had said it was a TDI I would have been very jealous lol.

I look forward to see what you do to it.

Interested in seeing what you do with this one.

I've heard the horror stories of the dpf and I only do 10 miles a day to work so a diesel would have been pointless for me.

I've already started...

it's started already fella.

Ah fair enough, my commute is not huge but enough to justify a diesel.

I'm not worried about dpf, as soon as I get problems it's gone and mapped out.

Bring on the pics

So over the past couple of weeks I've done a few little tweeks on the vrs..

I've managed to pick up a dtuk tuning box from another member of briskoda but I've not fitted yet.

Also I've got and fitted a vwr r600 induction kit to the vrs which only took 5 minutes to fit, what a difference that makes. Picks up alot quicker and you can hear the turbo more and dumping.

I've changed all the interior to leds roof doors and boot. Also the the rear indicators to chrome bulbs and the reserving to led too.

I've changed the number plate lights to a genuine skoda led light unit from another model which is a direct fit they just need changing on vag com to led.

I went and ordered some mudflaps from skoda Ireland all 4 for 37 quid delivered which I am bargain compared to skoda UK which wanted 80 quid

I've also changed the famous plate over VR52 LOW if you don't know it haha

I think that's it for now.... till the fabia goes

Also when I went down to skoda get the centre caps done under warranty I managed to get a picture of another vrs in show room to compare the front brakes people are talking about, that's skoda have changed them from 340mm disc to 312mm disc.

You can tell from the caliper carriers that the 312mm follow the shape of the centre of the wheel/disc

So it looks like I have the 340mm on the fronts.

Love it, looks great. Slightly biased as very similar to mine ;) much better spec you've got though - looking forward to seeing this progress.

I will be watching with interest Ant :) loved the fabia..... doesn't the 220 come with the bigger brakes as part of the package?

I think the 220 has bigger disks than the tdi doesn't it? Looks great! :)

Looking good so far, when's the air ride coming?

I bet you will with all the others lol. I'm not sure but what I've read they changed the size on the later ones to the 312mm.

This is the ones I've fitted and work. They just need coding with the vcds

So the project is moving quicker than I expected too.

I've picked up a full milltek exhaust with sports cat and non res. Also a honey comb top grill too all from a member on here.

The exhaust wasn't the best but it's underneath the car and the owner lived on a farm.

The grill is brand new and he never fitted it and he gave me some genuine skoda rubber mats for free.

This when I picked it up

I went down to jbs in Chesterfield to a get a new 3 inch gasket for the rear part, only cost £7 and came with the new bolts which are needed.

This is the grill but I've not fitted yet

Verry nice.

I've done the same.

But my dowpipe is HJS, no big difference, because Milltek uses HJS .

You must buy a VW Racingline silicone pipe . It looks and fits lovely! (I bought my from Awesome).

Lovely car, lot's of extras.

Waiting for the next mod.

Regards,

Iskren

thanks Iskren that is on the cards for the next mod and the 90 degrees pipe and muffler delete
