So I finally got round to fitting some of the engine parts to the car this morning.

I've fitted the neuspeed hi flo intercooler pipe with silicone pipe and the neuspeed muffler delete.

I had to take out the vwr one because it's to small for the silicone pipe to fit.

Also I've fitted the gfb dv+ for a mk7 golf r. I've fitted this one because if i change my turbo for a golf r one this will fit and I don't end up with two dv+

Here's a few pics from today

This the size difference between the vwr and neuspeed muffler delete

Done some sweet mods there Ant B) that is one low ride :tongueout:

Can I ask what size the square rear number plate is! Would like to put a square number plate on my rear but was not sure on the size needed to match up to the existing plate/screw holes.

So I've painted the the rear diffuser myself to save on money. It not come out to bad to be honest. I taped, tiger seal and bolted it up yesterday afternoon and hopefully it'll be stuck on

I'm having some problems with the tiger seal not bonding to the diffuser it's come apart twice this week so I've got to do it again tomorrow but I'm going to try sikaflex 221

Also it's had its first mot last week too and I've fitted 4 new tyres. I went for the federal ss 595 215 35 19. The drives so much better with the tyres. Personally I think the 225 is a balloon tyre on a 7.5j rim

Now I've got the rear diffuser to stop in place after using a different bonding agent, sikaflex 221 and i also taped it up for about 15 hours and not moving the car. I've also fitted the front upper honeycomb grill

I'm wondering if side skirts from Golf Mk7 R estate would fit...

I'm not sure and I don't want to spend over 100 quid if they don't fit.

Lol, yea I've given up saying I'm not going to modify it. Maybe a couple of years & I'll scratch the mk3 itch but I know going to worthsee again this year isn't going to help.
