Why can’t there be a comprehensive postal plebiscite and get one complete opinion instead of a oops stuff up followed by a

‘s##t’ sandwich.

^^^?

What has the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation got to do with the UK and Territories leaving the EU.

Not all countries in NATO are in the EU or even close with the USA being a major one that is not.

Who do you think would most benefit from the fracturing of European solidarity........one step at a time George?.

The bear isn’t a nice, simply misunderstood guy.

hmm given that Scotland and Northern Ireland rejected Brexit it's hard to see how this is British. I'm reading Fintan O'Toole's excellent book on Brexit and he makes clear up front, Brexit is a result of English nationalism. The rest of us are just strapped in the car with England at the wheel heading for the cliff / wall / insert your own metaphor here

Liz Pugh from the chippy has spoken, people. Board up your windows, women and children first. Men and boys over 14, grab a pitchfork or other implement. It's gonna be Gammongeddon out there. Liz from the chippy says so.

You mean Chinese and Russian dictatorships want everyone to submit a sealed envelope opinion?.

Australia is therefore a dictatorship.

While I'm sure Brexit will have some impact on UK Car sales JLR's problem is that a high percentage of their models are diesel. UK car sales are down 7% year on year and diesel models are down 30%. JLR's Real problem is China, where sales have dropped.

I’d been hankering for a diesel Evoque but even that seems to be unavailable out here, which may be down to WLTP issues.

It seems PSA vehicle supply has dried up also.

Thats why the Kia Electric (500km) route seems to be (for us with our abundant solar home power) such a slam dunk all of a sudden.

One part of Brexit was about "returning power from Brussels". If the UK had a similar voting parity where different parts of the UK had equal votes as you have in the EU, the vote by country should have been 50 / 50 and debate might go a different way. In the EU each member state has an equal vote not depending on geographical size, population size or economic power but simply on membership. To be more democratic the UK in its wisdom could introduce the same.

Nice statement but totally incorrect.

More votes now go by qualified majority, with largest population by country get their way. Germany, France, Italy and Spain accounts for over 50% of the E.U. population alone.
