Excellent guide, thanks a lot!!!

Very good guide! I had the leds behind the rev counter and Speedo needles fail. Bought a pack of LEDs for £2 and was a straight forward fix on my 2013 Fabia VRS. I replaced the temp and fuel needles at the same time to ensure they all match. Realistically took 1 hour 30 mins.

First post has a PDF, and instructions on page 1.

Download and absorb, it's a good write up.

Thanks for the reply. For some reason I couldn't get the link to work initially but seems to be fine now. Doesn't look to bad to do. Cheers

Best of luck with it.

Hey guys, it sounds like this is the solution to the flickering speedo and tachometer lights on my octavia 2010. However, I don't understand how an LED fails so that it flickers on and off? I thought LEDS just died totally. Why would they flicker intermittently? And why did it happen to all of them suddenly? Mine just started flickering recently - the speedo, the tachometer, the fuel and temp gauges. It makes me think some other component that powers the LEDs is the real culprit. Am I wrong? Should I just get new LEDs and solder them in?

Thank you for posting the diagram; it's very helpful! I would like to swap the white needles for green or red ones instead. The white needles from https://www.rapidonline.com/ operate at 3.1 volts, while the green ones I want are rated at 2.2 volts, and the red ones are at 1.6 volts. Would this work? It seems that the cluster requires 3-volt LEDs to function properly?

Thanks.
