I've watched a few video reviews of the FL Vrs and a lot of them say it has a heated steering wheel. Will it on a UK spec? I didn't see it listed in standard equipment when I ordered and I couldn't select it as an option either! 

Dunno, niether do the stealers so, kinda guess you'll have to wait & see, try figuring out if the vRS comes with a black grill surround as standard. Its an Fn minefield

The grill surround is chrome unless you opt for black pack or black pack plus. 

 

Im in the dark re. the heated wheel though. Can't see anything in literature saying it's standard and as said it's not an option. 

 

I cant see it being standard fir though. Probably just unavailable.

which i took issue with (amongst other things) in the main "facelift" thread here.

 

Maybe something to do with them testing in Austria - if it was an Austrian or German spec car - instead of knowing what would be in a UK car. 

Yeah but, Skoda UK have a tendency to make their own spec up

All importers decide on the mix of standard and optional equipment for their market. Heated steering wheels and heated cloth seats seem superfluous to the UKs milder winters. A standard spare wheel would be preferable for me but i guess it may cause increased emissions.

Scout now has heated wheel and seats

The L&K has the heated steering wheel listed when you view the configuration summary, the vRS doesn't have it listed even with the winter pack spec'd.

 

ill let you know when I collect mine at the end of next month, hoping it does though.

Its probably not available because the vRS has the flat bottom steering wheel.

I'd guess its only available if you have the standard steering Wheel hence its available on other models but not the vRS.

 

You can't take much from press reports as most car provided to press events are special builds & not just standard off the production line.
