**SOLD** Reluctant Sale of Fabia vRS Mk1 Low Mileage

Featured Replies

MK1 Fabia vRS for sale

It took me a while to realise I wanted a Fabia vRS and I promised myself one for my 40th and I got one before I turned 42 in June 2014 as I spent a long time looking for the perfect one and the cloth interior was a no-no for me.

I already owned an Octavia 1.9 used for long commutes since 2009 and still do BTW, as a testament to how good the Skoda marque is, I wanted a sporty desirable model.

So 3 years later and things have changed and I am about to move to the Superb fold, so still in the Skoda family with the 216k Octavia going strong and a new one on the way. It was a hard choice one had to go.

The car

Fabia Mk1 VRS ASZ 130BHP Silver 2004 with different ratio gearbox apparently more economical. I typically get 55mpg from a tank, brim to brim

MOT will expire 10/5/18

Hard to depict some small dents by fuel flap and front wing. Your really need to look to see. One in each place as I said you cannot picture them

A lot of the chips around the car will be touched in with a proper touch up stick which is included in the sale.

I have also located a brand new set of quantum standard wipers, a set of genuine rubber mats which will be included in the sale.

Plus of course the Briskoda sticker in the rear window.

The wheel nut covers were replaced about 1 year ago due to white marks and a bona fide VAG cover puller purchased from Audi as it was not present in the car. They give you a paper clip type puller which doesn't really work.

Full size black steel spare in boot with as new premium brand tyre.

To my knowledge the car has never been raced or rallied or chipped/tuned. The previous owner confirmed this too at time of purchase, otherside I would never have bought it.

I only bought it with the mods as most are what a Fabia vRS needs. Think a RARB is perhaps what would make this handle better as per forum posts but I never dabbled as I drive in a straight line and left the car pretty much as purchased; except the console bushes and cruise control additions.

According to my brim to brim refuelling analysis, during my ownership the car has managed 53-58MPG for the majority of my trips on the motorway which is 9-11ppm depending on the price of diesel if you don't remember has been between £1.10 and £1.35 a litre.

The record from one tank was 679 miles and that took 55.14 litres to fill back up, so it must have been running on fumes.

Very nice motor mate. Try putting your info and pictures into one post

May help possible buyers
