Colour confusion, which grey is which??

Featured Replies

Check your greys,

It seems like Skoda have mixed up the colours in the brochure and on the configurator when compared to other models in the range. The colour codes that come out on the config corresponds to colour samples.

F6F6 Quartz grey

2C2C Business grey.

Maybe they have just switched them for the Kodiaq to save bother, or maybe some customers are in for a surprise.

It’s a mistake on the Kodiaq (which was know back at the VIP launch)

Quartz Grey is the darker of the two.

They just brought out the new PDF brochure and it's still wrong. I'd get fired for being this incompetent I my job... Especially twice

if this is a known mistake then why have they not changed the configurator if you select the dark silver the code on the summary at the end comes out with the code for quartz but says business grey. If they are just going with a name swap on the colours for the Kodiaq then fine, but if not you could end up with the lighter colour when asking for business grey. The dealership I visited yesterday still didn't have an answer.

The car will come painted in the paint code which is detailed on the order, regardless of name and what a PDF says... so I you order 2C/F7M .. the paint machine will be set to this code and the car painted in Business Grey Met.  If set to F6/F7Y - you will get Quartz Grey.

It's simple. Quartz grey is gorgeous. Business grey looks like they forgot to put the top coat on. :)

Apologies to all those with Business grey cars. It's all about personal choice and I'm afraid I just don't like that colour. :dull::speechless::)

Nah, Business looks nice, its meteor grey were they lacquered the primer :tongueout:

That's not an option on the K.
