I bought a Fabia MK1 1.4 16v 2001 in November and as the weather is getting better now I started working on it.

 

One thing that isn't working are my heated seats. Leather seats are pretty nice but quite cold on the bum as I noticed this winter

I was wondering if anyone has had the same problem that the fuse keeps going as soon as I turn it on and if they know what the problem is.

Thought I ask it here before I take everything apart to look for the problem

It will be a short-circuit in the heating element, mine has gone open-circuit. The only cure is to dismantle the seat and replace the element.

Not what I was hoping for but defo what I thought it would be! Thanks
