I'm fairly sure that it was the online chat team who looked and told me which one my car was one, try them? I did have to specifically ask though as it wasn't a part of the normal update. I also remember there being a delay from it arriving at Emden to them knowing which vessel it will be on. Mine was hanging around for about 7 days before it was allocated.

I tried that method and ended up with the wrong ship.  Skoda Chat were able to confirm

the ship once it was loaded

My car’s a lease deal - what prices are people paying for 3 year GAP insurance?  Been quoted £299 from my local

Skoda dealer and not sure if that’s a good deal or not.

Yeah, Skoda tried to sell me theirs at that price too. I paid £92 for two years.

I got 2 years for £85

 

I used ALA last time - they were pretty decent and matched the lowest quote.

 

ALA are recommended a lot on pistonheads too.

 

EDIT:

 

Total Loss Gap is £85 for 2 yrs, see if ALA will price match as they used to.

Was around ten days on mine recently - hopefully you’ll be a little quicker

Sat in mine today, pick it up next week.

That is hopefully what mine will look like when it arrives, at least I have had confirmation that mine was built this week.

For all those still waiting, it really is worth it!  I appreciate that feeling that you think that day will never come as ive been there.  But I am still amazed at the car.  I am still getting used to the power that I have on tap and also aware I need to be careful as I tend to have a heavy right foot in certain circumstances!  My commute to work is mostly motorway which is pretty much nose to tail but now and then there is the odd chance to really give it some beans and holy moly is that fun!

 

Really do think that primer is the best colour for the car - looks awesome like that.

 

I went sensible and decided to stick to freebie-red to keep lease costs down :(

Picked mine up Saturday (when it was peeing down - typical) and can tell you the red is absolutely stunning in real life.   You’ll not regret and the black wheels and trim make it really stand out.  Am a bigger fan of poverty red than I was before I took delivery .  Loving the new car and will post some pics when I find a suitable location for backdrop

Car is confirmed at Emden, been told 3-4 weeks before i receive it.

 

Not really bothered about timeline, but id have loved to fly over and collect it and drive back.
