My idea of a cruise is a gentle drive home. 11 miles of motorway. I personally think 42mpg is good considering my 120d doesnt do more than 46 ever

My 2014 Octavia vrs tdi only ever averaged 42mpg so I'd be happy if I could get similar from a petrol.

I actually don't know or care but, it wouldn't made any sense not to use Southampton, what I do know was a BW32 car was with my dealers on the tuesday of BW34.

Mine came via Sheerness. Got it two weeks after arrival in UK.

So, having ordered my car on the 25th October I picked her up from the dealer this morning, have to say, beautiful drive, really enjoying the VRS

 

I'm quite surprised it was as soon as it was, great Xmas present

I ordered mine 11 Nov and being given wk 19 (May)... frustrating!

It's crazy the huge difference in lead times, there is no consistency in it.

What setting is your box on?

3+3 but, my Golf Clubsport map with the bigger jumpers, which are now standard, is map 3

 

The new game in the car is killing the wheelspin with the TC off, its almost an art form of balance, patience & technique but, its lots of fun

I tried 3+3 on mine and it was quite laggy. Im on 2+3 and its like standard but so much faster.

They don't always put the same files in the same locations so, it always a bit pointless but, we all get excitted & don't think.

 

Really just try all 3 maps at no plus or minus, pick the one you like best. then, you can play with the boost settings

Just tried it on 3+3 again this morning. My god its quick. Half throttle now feels like full throttle when it was stock

No i did have one on my 120d but wasn't impressed so i returned it. Completely different car though

Had an update from the dealer today with a build week of 23 which is the first week in June. Dealer has said this is an unconfirmed date and they expect it to move forward a lot and still expect to have in time for the end of April for when my current car goes back. Will see what the next update says in a few weeks.

Really hope build weeks become clearer soon, ordered 8 weeks ago and still have no build week. The dealer reckons March build but until there's something a bit more concrete I'll take that estimate with a pinch of salt.

Ordered in the last week of September and still nothing...  Getting really cheesed off and will be pushing next week.

I'm already looking at alternatives now, I ordered 12 weeks ago and still nothing. Current car goes back in 8 weeks so I'm doubtful the VRs will be delivered in time. I even spent yesterday car shopping and looks like a used 320I xdrive will be plan b as I won't have time to order a factory built pch deal.

Can't you extend your current car's PCH/PCP it would be a shame not to have that 245 on a beneficial PCH rate. You know they've only extended the delivery dates to get people to quit

I intend to call Arval on Tuesday to see if they offer informal extensions for another month or two. I can extend for 6 or 12 months but have already been informed this will more then likely be more then I'm currently paying and 6 months I expect will be too long as the VRs hopefully won't take that long. 

My preferred option would be to have the 245, I refuse to pay more per month now for a 230 PCH or used VRs on finance.

My dealer has said they can extend my current lease until the 245 arrives but am week 19 build (so likely June delivery)and while dealer says it will come forward I was expecting the car in 1st week March.  Been looking at alternatives over the past week and will give it another 2 weeks max before pulling the plug.
