Ordered our Octy  on 27th March. Got a confirmed build week 22 although original unconfirmed build week was 19. Left the production line 31st May. Arrived Emden 3rd June and left on a boat heading for Newcastle on the 7th. now on its way to the dealer and I'm collecting on 26th so 13 weeks in total, so not too bad

My dealer submitted my order to Skoda on the 4th July for my Octavia 1.5 tsi DSG SEL estate have been given a provisional build week of 32 which is 6th Aug but that could well change as was originally told 23 weeks.

A nice spec!  I would have loved to have had the option of digital cockpit.

 

I see you made the connoisseur choice of Race Blue too! Obviously you are a man of discernment!! 

It was either Race blue or boring grey lol so no contest! Will report back on how I find the digital cockpit on here once I have it as heard mixed reports from VW owners but I love my gadgets. And now the Interior LED lights are linked to the drive mode so when you change drive mode the lights change colour as well.

My Octavia SE Estate (1.0 DSG) was ordered on 20th February with build due  for week commencing 4th June.   Build was brought forward by one week to week commencing 28th May.

 

Additional specification as follows:

 

Ordered with standard Pacific Blue which became Energy Blue

Crew Protection Assist and Rear Side Airbags

Multi Function Colour Trip Computer

Floor Mats

Heated Front Seats

Up to Thursday last it was still at the dockside in Emden waiting for a boat to UK.

 

Dealer is taking my trade-in Yeti next Thursday and loaning me a Superb Sportline 1.4 Hatch to take on holiday to Austria.  I'm hoping my Octavia will be here when I get back 2nd week in July.

 

I guess they have a buyer for my Yeti.

Just got the call from the dealer my order (placed 14th May, week 20) will be in the factory w/c 6th August, week 32 and will be a MY19 (so GPF and 'improved' ice scraper )

 

1.5 TSi estate with adaptive cruise, heated seats & wheel, towbar and spare wheel

 

not sure whether to be excited or scared, never had a new car of my own before

Same build week as I have been told for my 1.5 tsi estate as well what colour did you go for? Will be my first brand new car as well, SWMBO got a new Kodiaq last year but I’m not allowed near it lol. I have gone for digital dash and led interior light pack, winter pack as wanted the heated screen, led high function rear lights. In Race Blue with the improved ice scraper

You could chase up your dealer or contact Skoda direct?  TBH, communication is definitely not their strong suit .

Has anyone (apart from me) ordered the energy blue (aka Smurf blue, cheapskate blue, and likely other derogatory names...!). I'm starting to wonder if my car will in fact be more unique than y'alls!

I had a Tuscan blue range rover once,called him papas smurf,does that help ?

Poverty blue is what we used to call the base (£0) blue

Oh well lol I’m sure it will look great! I came close to ordering quartz grey but SWMBO won again and said Race Blue. It’s quite reassuring that we have been given the same build week though might mean we have a good chance of it not changing if they are doing a batch of them. Is yours week 32 build a provisional or did they tell you it was confirmed?
