 I'm collecting mine tomorrow too. Hope we get some dry weather, as the forecast doesn't look great!

Well, the long wait is finally over! Thanks to the weather and traffic it was a very sedate drive home, I can’t wait to drive some more!

They should start building my Octy next week. Hoping to receive the car by the end of May (fingers crossed)

So it’s finally here.. 2 hours stuck in traffic around the A40 last night gave me ample time to play with the lighting and set up etc... not much fun driving tho’

What are current delivery cars ordered without any extras.

 

My dealership is advising 12/16 weeks, where as I am looking to buy as quickly as possible.

 

Can Skoda customer service check stock if contacted?

Your dealer can, I think, find out what's in stock in the UK.  A car from stock should be available pretty quickly.  A factory order will take some time as there's a factory shutdown coming up and ther are holdups with petrol cars with the new filters required.  I suppose it depends to a large extent on the model and spec you want.  Good luck with your search!

Just had  confirmation on delivery Was going to be 10th May but I am at exhibition in Birmingham all day and off for few days holiday with wife and kids early AM on 11th so Tuesday 15th it is. Pretty accurate to what they said Happy days

I just booked a 1.5 TSI DSG car two weeks back through one of the dealers. The dealers are able to check the available stock and tell you which cars are available along with the available options. The cars are kept in the stockyard in Germany and once your booking is completed the vehicle is tagged to your name and shipped across to the UK. I'd suggest approaching multiple dealers and then compare the quotes you get for the best possible price.

You can ring Skoda Customer Services with your order number and they will be able to tell you of any updates.

 

There is no UK wide tracking system, unfortunately .

You can use the live chat option and find out immediately (albeit probably not at the moment as it's a Bank Holiday evening).
