Induction Kit

Featured Replies

Hello I am looking to find a compatible induction kit for my 2015 VRS Octavia Tdi. Does anyone know where I can get one please?

Many thanks

Adam

There are a few out there mate - as the MkIII Octavia is based on the MQB platform, anything that fits the Golf Mk7 should fit on the Octavia. There are a few different types out there from Pipercross, VW Racing, APR (which I have personally), and quite a few others.

It's worth researching them to see which one is best for you - whether a panel filter, cone filter setup, or full airbox change.

It depends what you are after, performance or induction/turbo sound.

Personally I don't like the sound of diesel engines with an induction kit so would probably choose a panel filter by K&N or Pipercross. The only concern would be filtration, panel filters let more air in but does that come at the expense of good filtration? I would be worried about dust/particles making it into my turbo.

The OEM paper filter seems to be adequate performance wise even when people remap their cars. I've ordered a new paper filter even though the car has only done 13k.
