Hello from the midlands 

 

I've just bought my first Skoda, a 63/2013 Octavia Scout DSG, it was a police car. I hear they maintain them really well mechanically .. I guess I am going to find out about that in coming months and years. The car did 144k with its first owner, so I would say its just about run in and loosened up now

 

Having had quite a few VW's and falling in love with the TDI , Im really pleased with the Octavia , only done around 300 miles in it so far ( had it 1.5 days now ) . 

But it already feels so comfortable, like an old pair of slippers. Much much power than I had imagined for such a big car.

 

Looking forward to finding out more about the car and its quirks on here, getting to know y'all

I'm sure you have a very fine car there. They're extremely well maintained. And spend most of their time at a soft cruising speed.
