skoda fabia vrs epc light fault

I have a skoda Fabia vrs 1.4 petrol 2011 and the exhaust has a blow in it but the EPC light come on and car runs like a tractor until I turnt it off and on and the engine management light comes on and stays on the cars lost power and "splutters" jerks /jutters if you understand and revs it self on idle thanks for you insight
