Good Day Guys,

 

I have a question.. Can anyone advise preferably with instructions or photos on the best place to run power cables for 1. a TOMTOM unit at the bottom on the windshield and 2. a dashcam at the top of the windshield. Everything in my 2017 spaceback seems very well put together and panels will not seem to budge so I really do not want to break anything! Is it possible to power the dashcam from the power to the lights at the top? Is this not advisable?

Previous threads detail which fuse to piggy-back off in the panel by your right knee. Just use the search box top right of the SkodaRapid - Spaceback window. 

Turns out I didnt need to piggy at all.. Got a 2.4amp extender and ran it through the hole from the ebrake up behind the radio, our the sensor I believe is to detect lights and although its tight, it popped back in and the cable is now hidden :)) It took a while with a long thin wooden stick to figure out where the other side of that hole in the dash came out lol..
