HID leveling fault

Featured Replies

Hey, everyone. I've been having an issue with my Octavia 1.9 TDI '09. My headlights will not adjust, and I'm getting AFS error, no bend lighting in the dash. I have replaced the level sensor and it will still not work. They go up and down, but not to the sides.

I have tested the motor and they are working fine.

As you can see from the picture, it's not getting any signal, however I just replaced it..? Bad new sensor? Bad AFS Module?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'd suggest checking the wiring between the front sensor and AFS master (under the radio).

Wiring seems fine, as far as I can see, that is. Not exactly an easy place to get to. Any other idea?

If all three wires between the front sensor and AFS master are ok, then it's either the front sensor or AFS master at fault.

As you've replaced the front sensor, that suggests the AFS master. Guess the next stage is to try replacing that...

Still feels like a wiring issue to me though :/
