VCDS throttle mod causing error

Featured Replies

So I tried the Audi setting on my 1.4tsi DSG mk3 Octavia estate and it great, throttle lag removed....... one big problem though..... it causes an error in the breaking module, which stops the cruise control working.

Has anyone else come across this and has anyone managed to find a way to sort it out?

Cannot comment on a solution because I have a VRS, but others with similar engines to yours reported the same issues.

There is another setting you can try, that alters the acceleration curve - look up "throttle mod".

I had the same issue with my Cupra and presumed it was because I didn't have ACC. Reset it back to 'SEAT' mode and the problem was resolved.

Had exactly the same problem (I have ACC), so I've reverted back to the Skoda setting and will try the "throttle mod" mentioned by @Jaco2k - don't have a solution to get the Audi setting working though.

Thanks guys, I’ve tried the ‘other’ throttle adaption and it seem to have made some difference with no errors.
