VCDS scan CAN and phone faults

Featured Replies

I think I posted last time I checked on Aug 17 so apologies,

do I need to be concerned about these issues when scanned today?

Should I clear them again ?

I had the CAN one last Aug too but not the phone ones.

Happy engine and other stuff ok.

Large photos so need to load second shortly

What's your current odometer reading?

100k just a smidge over, got serviced at Skoda yesterday oil and filter. I did the air filter this morning

So about 160000 km. The CAN fault in your first image is old: freeze frame shows it was set at 148882 km. It's probably a one-off glitch.

The phone one is recent, being set at 160148 km. Reading down through it, it could have been a temporary loss of power to the controller.

If it were my car I'd clear all faults and see if anything comes back after a few days of driving.

I cleared the errors after a fresh scan today

However no more errors listed in the sections before but the index at the top still shows malfunction

Fresh scan having done about 600 or so miles the phone and CAN issues back, where they went before. When I erased them. Do I need to be concerned where the car seems fine Bluetooth anyway not sure how I know CAN is?
