Mine is being built this week so would be nice to get updates on its progress.

My dealer has a "track my Skoda" option on its website. It updates automatically at each stage. 

They must be using this website - http://www.trackmyskoda.co.uk

 

I'll have to have a look when I get home and put my order number in, how exciting!

I'm guessing it is. I would refresh the page daily excitedly waiting for the status to change.

I've just looked again and it says the site is only available to customers of that dealership. 

I've just had an update for my delivery after being issued with a 23rd July date initially. Current date is Week 12 (19th March) and estimate handover week 17 (23rd April). Needless to say I'm very happy with the improved delivery estimate.

I have entered my SLI number and it says there is no build date yet so does that mean it works even if you didn't buy from the dealers listed????

You can put anything in and its says no build date.

I need to call my dealer anyway so I’ll ask him if he knows if there’s a way to track it online.

The 'Track My Skoda' is only available to a certain group of dealerships, discussed here

 

Your dealer will be able to trace progress on the order and if you ask them they may be willing to tell you which day they receive their update so you can focus your requests.

Alternately, once you have been given your order number, you can phone Skoda Customer Services and with a degree of patience, they will advise. 

Used live chat yesterday and my car (BW7) has already arrived at the UK port! Presumably this is where it sits in England for two weeks waiting for a transporter

This is good to hear. I've ordered an SE L this week and was provisionally told to expect delivery June/July. I would be very happy with an improved delivery of April/May. 

 

Were expecting our 2nd child on 30th June and the Fabia isn't going to cut it! 

I ordered my 1.5 SE Tech DSG mid December and received an email last Friday saying it was built and at the docks ready to ship and should be available before my current car goes back in just over 3 weeks !!

I got an email today that mine is currently in Germany waiting to be shipped.

Got an update from the dealer today. Car has arrived and is being prepared for delivery. Will probably pick up the end of next week.

Out of interest, does it take them that long to prepare the car or is that just when you wanted to pick it up?

Not sure TBH. I was offered Wednesday or Friday but that could just be when the person who deals with leasing is in that branch.

Ours is now built and awaiting a train to Germany so not too long now.

Hopefully the weather will be much better come collection day.

Nicky what was your build week? Mine is 9, but not heard from my dealer as yet,but they have been closed today due to the weather and staff safety reasons.

Build week 8 mate,  my brother inlaw runs a Skoda dealership so he texts us updates.

Base on our build, your car is either built or due to be built before the weekend is over.

BW9. It's been made and on the way to the port! yay!

 

Dealer still expects 4 more weeks to arrive.

 

 

Well olly lets hope mine is on the same boat and we get a nice easter present.

Ours is confirmed BW9 (this week). Should get an update Monday. Still fingers crossed for early April.

Mine is BW8 and I was told by my dealer ysterday that due to the poor weather conditions there was a backlog of cars to ship.  It was still waiting for a boat to collect it and ship to Sheerness.  Could be today but there's also two boats on Monday. I'll know more next Wednesday but still expected for collection in March. 

Mine was BW9, got an email last Friday saying it was at the port waiting to ship, another email today saying it's in the UK and has been allocated a Registration DY18 *** pick it up 3 weeks today if all goes to plan as that's when my current lease runs out, don't know how I'd get on for collecting it earlier, don't want to be paying for two cars

Mine was BW8 and coming to Surrey too, could be on the same boat!

Haven't heard anything from my dealer though, they don't give me any updates.
